Christmas Eve

This year we spent Christmas Eve with the Sorensen side of the family. LaDawn made a delicious ham dinner with her homemade rolls that are always amazing! Then the kids dressed up and acted out the Nativity story, with Grandma reading. The Sorensen's also indulged Nicholas and played the bells with gusto. (See Millett family Christmas party post) Thanks everyone, it made his whole night.
My favorite moments:
*Our angel (Shelbey) bringing her tidings of great joy with one of Grandma's fabulous rolls in her mouth.
*Watching Chad and Nathan trying to fit into the costumes. They have gotten so big, but they were good sports and squeezed into them anyway.
*Seeing how excited Conner was to play Joseph.
*Nicholas pretending to "herd" his invisible sheep.

Below are some of the highlights of the grand production.

We had a great time, and wore Grandpa out completely! Say Goodnight Gracie.

It looks like you had a ton of funny. We would have loved to be there!

We miss you guys so much! We have so many fun memories of the Christmas gift exchange and Troy making it even more exciting each time. Love the Nativity. We've started that tradition. This year was hilarious. The Angel (Lara) wouldn't put baby Jesus down in his cradle. She kept saying..."My baby". And the shepherd, Derick took a potty break in the middle of the story. It wouldn't have been as funny if we wouldn't have been able to HEAR it from start to finish. Good Times! Keep on posting. I love keeping up on the Northern Utah Sorensen's this way!
